About the game
In My Bar you take over an empty venue — in a cellar, on the ground floor with a beer garden, or on two levels with a pub upstairs and a club downstairs. Pick a music style: rock, metal, pop, hip-hop, jazz or electronic, and it shapes the interior, the guests and what they order at the bar.
Build the main room, bar, dance floor, stage, toilets, kitchen and cloakroom, paint the walls and lay the floors, then add tables, lighting and decorations. Hire bartenders, waiters, a DJ, bouncers, a cook and cleaners. Bartenders learn harder and harder drinks, while you set the menu and prices and keep an eye on supplies and finances.
Throw ticketed parties and book bands, while bouncers check guests at the door and break up cartoon scuffles before they turn into a brawl. Compete with the trendy “The Golden Ball” club, and over time bring in technology: card terminals, vending machines and robots behind the bar.
